The Fertile-Beltrami community has always been dedicated to the children in its school district. As evidence of its commitment to young people the Fertile-Beltrami Education Foundation was established in 1996. The educational opportunities provided in the classroom are enhanced through the Foundation's projects and grants. Scholarships awarded by the Foundation to its students promote education and learning beyond the walls of the Fertile-Beltrami School. The Foundation relies on the support of the community businesses, members and alumni----both locally and from across the country.

The Foundation is a tax-exempt, non-profit corporation that allows caring and committed teachers, parents, businesses, community members, and alumni to give more to our children and the school in the following ways:

        1. Expand education opportunities beyond the basic curriculum.
        2. Provide matching dollars for grants to fund special projects.
        3. Increase programs for gifted and talented students.
        4. Inspire students and teachers to pursue creative ideas that improve education.
